STORYTELLING THROUGH SCORE AND SONG

Tyler’s love of storytelling has been translated into original compositions for wind ensemble, orchestra, choir, string quartet, and chamber ensembles, as well as original songwriting.

Tyler graduated summa cum laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with both Bachelor’s (B.M. 2013) and Master’s (M.M. 2017) degrees in Music Theory & Composition. He has studied composition with Robert Maggio, Mark Rimple, Van Stiefel, Adam Silverman, and Larry Nelson.

I can’t say enough great things about working with Tyler as a composer. He’s a professional in every sense of the word – artistically brilliant, possesses a deep knowledge of his craft (both musically and technologically), collaborative, communicative, realistic in his planning and passionate about his work. That passion pours through his music and masterfully expresses the heart and themes of the story being told.
